Hey there, I’m Thad Brown, and I run TactBright.com! I started this website back in 2018 to share my passion for all things tactical and outdoors. I’m a Navy veteran who enlisted during the Viet Nam war, and I’ve had a pretty diverse career background since then, essentially managing investment, CPA, and Real Estate firms. But my true love is the great outdoors – from landscape photography to backpacking to fly fishing to bird hunting. I have explored most of the western U.S. as a landscape photographer and have trained in firearms under the direction of a Ventura County SWAT commander. I love everything tactical and outdoors and this site is a labor of my passion.
At TactBright, we’re all about everyday carry, self-defense, tactical gear, and all things related to the outdoors.
